Mission College is a public community college located within the City of Santa Clara in the heart of Silicon Valley. With its highly diverse and active student population, the environment at Mission College makes it easy to meet new friends every day. Our faculty is among the most qualified in the state and our students regularly praise our college for its small, intimate campus and its supportive and friendly atmosphere.
This program provide theoretical and clinical experiences to prepare students for employment as a Community Health Worker in community and residential care agencies. Students will learn to work with clients of diverse ages, cultural backgrounds and intellectual and emotional abilities. The focus is on providing habilitation and normalization training for individuals who work with the developmentally disabled persons in a community environment.
