The small class sizes at the Sacramento site offer an opportunity for students to have greater individual interaction with the professors and each other. While geographically distant from the parent campus in Fresno, students at the Sacramento site do have access to all Alliant student benefits, including library services. Alliant Sacramento is easily accessible from all major thoroughfares in the metropolitan Sacramento area.
Alliant Sacramento is a small, conveniently located center that hosts three degree programs, a PsyD program in Clinical Psychology, online PsyD program in Clinical Psychology, an MA in Marital and Family Therapy and a PsyD Program in Organizational Development. The program embraces the value that effective professional psychologists must appreciate the significance of their professional training and roles in a broader social context. Students must obtain proficiency in providing service to individuals of diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Thus, the program aims to produce professional psychologists who can appreciate the social significance and impact of their work, and who have the knowledge, skill, and professional attitudes necessary to be effective and ethical practitioners with a variety of groups in multiple settings.
