West Coast Ultrasound Institute is a Post-secondary School with 119 students in Beverly Hills, CA.
The student enrolled in Cardiovascular Sonography program will be trained in the following areas: anatomy of the heart, physiology of the heart, pathophysiology of the heart, vascular ultrasound, and ultrasound physics. Also, each student will be placed in an externship site. The student must attend and successfully pass all five (5) modules in order to meet graduation requirements. Various equipment will be used in the lab giving the student extensive practice in protocols and knobology. The student will have hands on training on real patients in the clinic located on the school premises.
