Emergency Medical Technician
The Emergency Medical Technician program is a 1-semester program designed to train individuals to respond safely in emergency medical situations. Program content consists of theory and skills on life-support measures, the use of medical emergency equipment and supplies, and an ambulance module. Job opportunities are in hospital emergency rooms, ambulance companies, and other health care agencies. The EMT course is offered each Fall and Spring semesters based on open enrollment.
