APU’s applied health major provides students with a scientific foundation for future endeavors. The degree is tailored to students who wish to go directly into physical therapy, physician assistant, or other master’s level allied health programs. Core courses in biology, cell biology, chemistry, and physics provide a framework for emphases in physical therapy, physician assistantship, or business. These emphases allow students tailor the curriculum to support their desired career track.
