The Regional Occupational Program is acknowledged as one of the most cost-effective job training program for high school students and adults in California. LACOROP graduates entering the labor force have made a tremendous impact on the economies of their communities.
Emergency Medical Technician
This course trains student as an ambulance attendant, emergency room attendant, first aid attendant, or as part of an entry level for firefighter positions. This course aligns with the National DOT Curriculum of EMT and meets state and local requirements for course approval.
Upon successful completion of this course, students are eligible to apply for testing and certification through the Los Angeles County Emergency Medical Services Agency (EMSA) for state certification.
