The dental assisting program at the College of San Mateo is over 50 years old! The Dental Assisting Program at the College of San Mateo will fully prepare you to sit for both the State (Registered Dental Assistant) and National (Certified Dental Assistant) examinations. You can graduate with a Certificate in Dental Assisting in two semesters. The program also can serve as a stepping stone into a later career in dental hygiene.
