Founded in 1955, Cerritos College is a public comprehensive community college serving an area of 52 square miles of southeastern Los Angeles county. The college offers degrees and certificates in 87 areas of study in nine divisions. Over 1,200 students successfully complete their course of studies each year.
The pharmacy clerk is a non-registered, technical worker who performs the minimum non-discretionary tasks as allowed by the Board of Pharmacy of the State of California, under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist. Employment in this field requires applicants to have good vision, hearing, the ability to communicate orally and the physical ability to perform tasks required of a pharmacy clerk.
