The college offers an accessible, student-centered educational environment which provides high quality learning opportunities essential in meeting challenges of a diverse, global community. IT is operated on an 18-week semester system, the college offers a fall and spring term, as well as six-, eight- and 10-week summer sessions.
The Registered Dental Assistant Program is well established at Reedley College, it was started in 1958. The program is affordable, only $20 a unit. Students can be finished as quick as ten months with a Certificate of Achievement. Classes begin in mid-August and end in mid-June. Courses are approved by the Dental Board of California Committee on Dental Assisting, office management, dental specialities, biodental sciences, and coronal polishing. The combination of laboratory, lectures, and clinic hours prepares students to take the state licensing examination (RDA). The program works closely with the dental community to provide the student with 300 hours of work experience in a dental office
