The Vocational Nursing Program leads to licensure as a Vocational Nurse (LVN), following successful completion of the national NCLEX examination. Employment opportunities are often available in acute care settings, convalescent and skilled nursing facilities, medical offices, clinics and home health care. Those interested in this career should be a caring person, have good interpersonal relationship skills and be capable of fairly rigorous work.
